Vastly improved in second start over hurdles after a wind operation when only finding one too good after leading in a C&D juvenile last month. That form looks the standout and every chance he can improve again so will be hard to beat.

Stayed on for second of five in lone French AQPS bumper in September 2018. Hard to accurately gauge that form overall here and faces hurdles for first time but surprise if he can't win races soon enough.

77-rated flat performer proved frustrating with lone win his debut in 2017. Beaten 35L into fourth on hurdles debut at Newbury last month where he was far too keen and is stable's apparent second string here.

78-rated flat maiden showed clear signs of hurdling potential when not beaten far into fourth on debut at Taunton last month. That form gives him possibilities here and should improve for last year's winning yard.

Ordinary flat maiden (rated 51) and only made the frame once so far in four starts over hurdles. No impact since that debut second and although he has the experience edge he will likely find one or two too good.

Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for CHAPARRAL PRINCE whose second over C&D reads very well here and Nicky Henderson's juvenile's juvenile looks the one to be on. Tiffin Top is the only rival with comparable form and Alan King; like Henderson excels with juvenile hurdlers so he is the alternative. Flaminger ran a pleasing race in a French bumper and is certainly worth watching here on his UK/stable/hurdles debut.
