Trans Island gelding doesn't boast especially strong claims on paper. Well beaten in Punchestown bumper in April 2017. Won a point-to-point in May last year and has joined Noel Meade since. Watch betting.
Didn't show a lot in pair of Galway bumper in the autumn (not disgraced) and twice well beaten around here in maiden hurdles more recently. Booking of Patrick Mullins this time catches the eye.
Stowaway gelding out of a Montjeu mare. Cost €38,000 as a three-year-old. Only beaten a length into third of 11 on bumper bow at Limerick recently. Player if building on that effort.
Disqualified for prohibited substance after winning a Point-to-point in May (mixed messages from form) and fetched £225,000 later in the month. Good effort in Listed Navan bumper last month on stable bow. In the mix here.
Makes first trip to the racecourse and Scorpion gelding looks least likely of Gordon Elliott's pair in this contest on paper.
Credible in bumpers (better than previously over hurdles) and was 8L second of 10 at Thurles just before Christmas. Likely has more to find to go one better today.
Daughter of Dylan Thomas out of a Langfuhr mare, 66/1 and no impact here on New Year's Day on debut. Hard to fancy.
