Has developed a worrying knack of finishing second, which means that his consistency not only isn't winning him races but he gets no help from the handicapper either. Conditions fine and should run his race again, but likely to find one too good.
Getting the hang of hurdles now, not a bad run on handicap debut at Wetherby last time and looked ready for this step up in trip (one-paced at times). Improvement a possibility and on that, can't be ruled out.
Looks another shrewd purchase for the yard, well backed to score on first start for them at Taunton and did so with a bit in hand. On same mark here as that was a conditionals race, and he once again looks the one to beat.
Three times a winner at this track, so at least has that going for him, but looks on the downgrade at present and shows little sign of being able to turn things around art present. Hard to make a solid case for.

JIMMY RABBITTE has been found a good opportunity to make it 2-2 for Dr Newland and his connections and it's hard to see past him, in truth. He can take this at the expense of The Steward, who may well be set to add another "2" to his form figures, and Lester Kris , who may well do better now getting more of a trip.
