Holy Street^p1²⁶³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽⁷⁾| T: Laura Morgan| OR: 96

11/2

Only modest form shown in novice hurdles (for Alan King) but a bit better in point-to-points last year and talented trainer has a knack for getting wins out of these types. Should stay and won't mind the ground, so has chances.

Mistress Massini⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Rex Dingle⁽⁵⁾| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 89

4/11

Improving and gets no penalty here for his win in a conditionals race at Ludlow last time, where he got the better of one that finds winning hard late in the day. Clear form chance with a repeat, and conditions fine.

Form: 411-411

Spinning Scooter^p,t⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 10-12| J: Dale Irving⁽³⁾| T: M A Barnes| OR: 82

12/1

No win in 21 starts rather tells its own story, tends to finish off weakly whatever the trip and although there's the odd run to give some hope, overall profile suggests he'll find a couple too good here.

Form: 34P747

Nine O Three^b1,t¹⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 10-6| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 76

7/1

Did win a modest point-to-point last March, which at least offers some hope he may yet do better over fences, but showed little on handicap debut over fences at Uttoxeter last time. Better ground here may help, but needs to improve.

Forecasts

Mistress Massini (4/11), Holy Street (11/2), Nine O Three (7/1), Spinning Scooter (12/1)

MISTRESS MASSINI appears to face a relatively simple task to follow up her Ludlow win earlier in the month. Whilst the second home there, Follow The Swallow, is something of a professional runner-up, it should not devalue her effort and she can score again. Holy Street might be the one to give her something to think about, with Laura Morgan often getting wins out of these point-to-pointers and if the likely favourite falters, she can take advantage. The other pair face an uphill task.
