Failed in hat-trick bid last time but looked in need of a step back up to this trip and expected to get back on track here. Should run well, particularly if he's allowed to dominate his four rivals from the front.

Caused a 40/1 shock over C&D in a maiden last time out, confirming the promise of his debut effort at Newbury. The assessor hasn't taken any chances with the opening mark but the runner-up from his appearance here last time has boosted the form.

Sent off favourite when winning a four-runner contest at Lingfield last time out, making it two wins from five starts. Has a habit of missing the break and needs more up in class against these rivals.

Placed here on her second career start but has failed to build on that multiple times since including on Tapeta at Wolverhampton last time. Needs to bounce back and others quite possibly better handicapped.

Still a maiden after seven starts but he's improved since switched to AW, narrowly denied over C&D prior to two respectable efforts at Southwell. Feasibly handicapped and expected to be thereabouts.

Forecasts

Mardle (15/8), Zip (9/4), Seductive Moment (9/2), Woodside Wonder (11/2), Material Girl (10/1)

Verdict

It might be worth taking a chance on WOODSIDE WONDER with the step back up to seven furlongs sure to suit. Callum Rodriguez takes the ride, a jockey who has enjoyed an excellent winter so far, particualrly at this course, and he ought to get spin from this colt. Mardle isn't taken on lightly after the form of his success last time out has worked out well. Zip completes the shortlist and has found some consistency since he was switched to all-weather racing.
  1. Woodside Wonder
  2. Mardle
  3. Zip
