Nothing of note in a series of disappointing starts over 12-months ago for trainer Mouse Morris. Beaten 30L on return to action at Navan last month and makes little appeal in this company.

Has flattered to deceive in a number of starts for leading owner. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Downpatrick maiden hurdle winner in 2016, lightly raced since including a heavy defeat on return to action at Fairyhouse last month. Easy to look elsewhere.

Returned from a long break with a solid effort at Tramore earlier December before a ¾L win in a 17-runner handicap hurdle at Down Royal on St Stephens Day. Another bold show looks likely.

Winner over this trip in a Tramore maiden hurdle in October on good ground beating 11 rivals by a head. Gutsy handicap debut when finishing second of 19 at Galway later in the month and worth a check in the market here.

Third of 13 in a Roscommon maiden hurdle in October remains her career best performance in five innocuous starts to date. Likely to find it tough going here.

Has appeared overwhelmed in a number of starts since August but showed a hint of ability in a Limerick handicap hurdle when fifth of 16 beaten 4½L over Christmas. Has a bit to prove at present.

Still a maiden after 11 starts and form is pretty weak. Likely to find this tough going and readily opposed here.

Well down the field in a number of hurdle starts since August including a 49L defeat at Limerick over Christmas. Looks opposable on current form.

Verdict

MING DYNASTY for trainer Gavin Cromwell has shown plenty of improvement of late including when stepping in to novice hurdle company over Christmas and can land the spoils here in a competitive contest. British Art, who returned with a solid effort at Tramore earlier in December before a ¾L win in a 17-runner handicap hurdle at Down Royal on St Stephens Day, can prove to be the biggest danger. Bridge Native from the Dot Love yard can claim a minor honour.
  1. Ming Dynasty
  2. British Art
  3. Bridge Native
