French import who made an impressive British debut when bolting up over C&D. Prominent in the betting for the Triumph Hurdle and can advertise his claims for that contest despite conceding weight all round.
Won the second of his two hurdles starts in France and now makes bis stable/British debut. Hard to know how good he is, but is certainly worth noting in the betting.
Moderate maiden on the Flat who finished a distant third of 11 on hurdling debut at Fontwell. Not disgraced there and can improve, but this looks a stronger contest.
Winner of one of his four starts on the Flat in France where he was trained by MIkel Delzangles. Stays well and will have been well prepared for his jumping debut by a stable which does well with its juvenile hurdlers.
Fair Flat performer who ran a respectable race to be third on his hurdling debut at Musselburgh. Needs to brush up his jumping and this softer ground may not be ideal.
Montmartre gelding who cost €40,000 last year and is a half-brother to a couple of winning hurdlers. Nice pedigree, but may need this first racecourse experience and is fitted with a tongue tie.
Former Flat performer who has finished out of the frame on both hurdling starts at Newcastle and Wetherby. Plenty more needed in a better race.
Forecasts
Torpillo (30/100), Honorable (9/2), Paddy The Chef (12/1), Fukuto (14/1), Last Enchantment (40/1), Flashdanza (66/1), Tis Fantastic (66/1)
Honorable is a fascinating hurdling newcomer who must be checked out in the betting, but impressive C&D scorer TORPILLO sets a high standard and will be out to boost his Triumph Hurdle claims. Fukuto is interesting on his British bow and debutant Tis Fantastic has a nice pedigree, but the others look to have something to find.
