Fourth foal. Dam 1m2f winning sister to useful bumper winner Cloudy Times from a good middle-distance family. Stable 8% in bumpers over five seasons, and probably one to watch unless well supported.
€55,000 purchase, from a useful jumping family. Beaten just ¾L at odds-on on debut at Sedgefield last month, but front pair were 16L clear there. Should again go close if he can build on that. Trainer 28% in bumpers since 2014.
Showed improved form on his latest start in a heavy ground Tipperary bumper last month. Needs to improve on that to win here, but can't rule that out, and should be competitive.
€3,000 yearling, £11,000 at two. Second foal. Half-brother to 1m4f-1m7f AQPS Flat/2m3f hurdle winner Diocese. Dam unplaced 11.5f AQPS Flat. Stable 0-49 in bumpers since 2014. Best watched on debut.
Has shown promise in both starts, and was far from disgraced when 9½L sixth behind a useful sort at Ayr when last seen in April. May need this after a break, with stable fairly quiet, but interesting if supported.
11-4 and was too keen when finishing a promising 8½L third on debut at Southwell (good to soft) last month. Should benefit from that experience and if settling better, he could have a big say this time.
Caught the eye when staying on well after being outpaced on the home turn at Ascot on debut in November, finishing a never nearer 2L second. Third has run well since, so form solid enough. Likely improver who could go very close.
Seventh foal. Brother to bumper/very useful 2m3f-3m1f hurdle/chase winner Vintage Clouds, half-brother to 2m1f-3m2f hurdle/chase winner Vintage Star. Dam point winner/placed in 2m chase. Stable 7% in bumpers since 2014. Market check on debut.
Supported in to 15-2 but was never a threat when beaten 54L on debut in a Catterick bumper (soft) last month. Can only watch until we see more promise.
Bought for £60,000 in May after finishing a head second on debut in an Irish point-to-point. Dam an unraced half-sister to a bumper winner. Stable 24% in this sphere over five years, and runners always merit respect. Could make a nice debut.
Showed a bit of promise on debut at Sedgefield in April, but failed to build on that on her reappearance at Catterick last month. This looks tough.

Prince Llywelyn (15/8), Big Bad Bear (85/40), Enlighten (9/2), Young Lieutenant (5/1), I'm Wiser Now (14/1), Rare Clouds (18/1), Show Promise (20/1), Dublin Four (25/1), Askmewhy (40/1), Emporteparlafoule (100/1), Sultans Hero (100/1), Madam Scully (125/1)
Rare Clouds looks a decent recruit to this code and it will be interesting to see whether there is any warmth towards him in the market, and the same can be said of Young Lieutenant, for a stable with a better record in this discipline. I'm Wiser Now and Prince Llywelyn both look capable of having a big say, but BIG BAD BEAR also made a decent debut and he can take advantage of a useful 7lb claim. Dublin Four is another to consider.
