Both career wins have come here, one hurdle and one chase. Positive efforts both starts this season over fences and now reverts to hurdles where his 17lb lower rating makes him of significant interest.
33/1 second in middle of three maiden starts showed he has ability but didn't follow that up more recently at Naas in a warmer contest. Has potential but hard to think opening mark is favourable.
Six-time chase winner including twice in 2018 but none from 12 over hurdles and not raced over them since summer 2017 when down the field. Mark much lower than chases but overall others preferred.
Won twice late last season and maintained form at a good level after that. Efforts this season however at a much lower level and suspicion age has finally caught up with him.
Showed little in first four starts so C&D second latest on heavy ground came out of the blue hence 33/1 odds. Upped 4lb for that but has to be of interest now and has very few miles on the clock.
Fair flat performer has shown some ability although yet to make the frame in five hurdle starts. Latest effort left a bit to be desired but Fairyhouse sixth in November would give him a live chance off this mark.
Seven race maiden has yet to make presence felt since switch to handicapping and after a promising enough start he hasn't gotten near lately. Mark continues to fall but others more compelling.
16-race maiden but two placed efforts so far both over C&D. Third latest (Lord Boru second) wasn't as good as earlier close second as she seemingly tired in heavy ground. Each-way potential here.
Eight-race unplaced maiden was behind a couple of these when midfield latest in a C&D handicap last month. Cheekpieces added but huge amount of ground to make up.
Second to smart subsequent Grade Three winner Chief Justice three starts back leaps off the page. Not at that level since although midfield effort at Punchestown sound enough and makes plenty of appeal in first handicap off this mark.
Unplaced maiden faces first handicap here but latest efforts at Punchestown (seventh of 20) and Cork (11th of 23) show enough ability to play a significant role here off such a low mark.

Forecasts
Aoibhe's Beau (5/2), Peculiar Genius (11/4), Lord Boru (7/2), Musical Ava (9/2), It's Paddys Day (8/1), Mooborak (11/1), Dark Outsider (12/1), Takemeback (12/1), Irish Minister (12/1), Secret Cargo (25/1), Gimli's Oscar (25/1), Analyse That (25/1), Tsarina Sophia (33/1)
IT'S PADDYS DAY was almost certainly flattered when only beaten 5L by the smart Chief Justice but it's hard to believe nevertheless that he can't make a bold bid here on his handicap debut after such a run so he gets the vote in a tricky contest. Top-weight Peculiar Genius is a danger with his hurdles mark so much lower than that over fences and Paul Nolan's charge has registered both career wins at this course. Also on the shortlist is Aoibhe's Beau who finished second on handicap debut.
