Has snippets of form that say the mare can figure at this level. Has won over this trip from just a 4lb lower mark, so merits respect if supported in the betting under top weight.
Won a point-to-point and possible he'll make a better chaser in time. Not unduly punished for this handicap debut and another from a shrewd operation that should be monitored closely in the betting.
Improved effort in cheekpieces last time out; more required here but not unfeasible to suggest the mare has more to offer. New trip might suit too. Worth a betting check.
Pulled up latest, which followed the trait of a handful of moderate previous efforts. Hard to recommend here.
Hurdles form has been nothing special so far but did show improvement here last time out. The step up in trip is in her favour. Another for the shortlist of market movers to monitor.
Won a point-to-point (3m, soft) so feasible this step up in distance will suit. Needs to leave previous hurdles form well behind though.
Useful enough at this level and has already won over this sort of trip, so ticks in the boxes for stamina and ability. Reverts to hurdles after a moderate effort over fences but sound claims on the pick of his form. (Rider's claim a help too.)
Well beaten in all starts so far and big improvement would be required to figure here.
Not too many miles on the clock but form is nothing special so far and needs to post an improved effort. First run back after wind surgery.
C&D winner last September from the same mark and merits respect on the pick of his efforts. However, form dipped during the latter stages with his former yard and the gelding may best watched on his debut run for a new trainer.
Sound effort from a 2lb higher mark at Southwell in February but never a factor on return to racing when mid division at Kelso earlier in the month. Might have needed the run but still needs to up his game.
Probably needed the run on his reappearance but failed to build on that when outpaced near the finish at Market Rasen latest; another with a bit to prove just now.
Losing sequence is mounting up and the gelding needs to prove he's not just on a slippery slope. Others much more convincing.
Out of the weights and needs a dramatic amount of improvement to even be considered capable of making the frame. Hard to recommend.
Returned from a long absence in March but has been well beaten in all starts since then. Out of the handicap and needs everything to go her way...and some.

Costante Via (5/2), Diva Du Maquis (9/2), Some Operator (11/2), Sauvignon (17/2), Pray For A Rainbow (17/2), K O Kenny (10/1), Arctic Road (12/1), Oliver's Island (20/1), Aristocracy (25/1), Turbotim (25/1), Just Midas (25/1), Indian Reel (33/1), Bignorm (40/1), Sundance Boy (50/1), Helamis (66/1)
A modest handicap hurdle can go the way of CONSTANTE VIA, who is likely to be seen to better effect now her stamina is test a bit more. The selection may have the most to fear from Sauvignon, who has won over this trip already and is respected despite top weight, and Diva Du Maquis, who i9s also tacking a new trip and may well flourish under the challenge.
- Costante Via
- Sauvignon
- Diva Du Maquis
