Showed ability in point-to-points and also made good progress over hurdles. Yet to really impress over fences but improvement can't be ruled out. Worth a betting check.
Showed a lot of ability in bumpers and made good progress over hurdles too. Lacks experience of fences and was soon tailed off when tried over the larger obstacles at Newcastle earlier this month. Needs to improve.
A dual bumper winner and showed willingness to win when registering victory over hurdles at Ludlow last November. Likely to be primed for this chasing debut but also sure to need the experience too.
Useful over hurdles and fared well in better company (in a Listed race) at Warwick last time. Down in class and potentially on a very lenient mark for her handicap debut. Likely to have a big sway in the outcome.
Landed a four-timer over hurdles earlier this year but the form was at a modest level. Lost touch early on his chasing debut at Bangor and comes here with a bit to find.
Rated 127 over hurdles and carries that mark into handicap chasing. Unfortunate to be cannoned out of the race by a loose horse on chase debut last time. Probably be better for a confidence boosting round. Looks one for the future.
Won at this course over hurdles on his penultimate start; yard does well with this type of animal, so worth a betting check from a lenient mark now the gelding switches to fences.
Forecasts
The Bottom Bar (11/4), Aintree My Dream (7/2), New To This Town (4/1), Dr Des (6/1), Secret Legacy (6/1), Calipso Collonges (11/1), All Currencies (14/1)
An interesting race in which none can confidently be ruled out. However, ALL CURRENCIES takes on the boys at a realistic level and the French-bred mare could provide the key to unlocking a tricky race. Venetia Williams has a good record with her French imports and this mare looks progressive enough to merit a small interest on this occasion. Dr Dres and The Bottom Bar are still works in progress but also merit respect.
