Form figures read well from the limited number of starts under rules but looks harshly assessed for what he's achieved and is vulnerable under top weight.
Won a maiden hurdles in Ireland last October but has been seen only twice since. Finished last on both occasions and now has a lot to prove on his debut for a new yard.
C&D winner last month; again proving to have a willing attitude when asked to battle. More on his plate here from a 6lb higher mark and plenty to prove after being held latest.
Mixed form until showing plenty of willing to get his head in front here last time out. A 7lb higher mark has to be a factor but the gelding's confidence will have been boosted; one to bear in mind if the betting market shines a good light on him.
Goes well at Ffos Las and is back on the same mark as his latest win at that course; plenty to prove after a poor run in a seller last time out though.
Showed good form when with Nicky Henderson and reverts to hurdles after just one start over fences for his current yard. Races in a tongue tie for the first time and well worth a betting check from a handy mark. Shortlisted.
Ran well in both starts since wind surgery and looks to be on an upward curve at present. Can make the running and a bonus that he likes this course. Another to seriously consider. (Handicap debut here.)
Has previously needed a gap between his races and doesn't look particularly well weighted at present. Likely to make the rest aware of his presence but needs a lot to go his way on these terms.
Unexposed but not really captured the imagination as a horse follow as yet. Likely to be well down the pecking order at his illustrious yard.
Yard does well with its imports from France and looks to have another improving individual on their hands after his decisive win at Ludlow a fortnight ago. 7lb higher this time but is going in the right direction. Has to merit consideration.
Just a bumper win to his name from his time in Ireland and hurdles form was regressive. It was a similar tale on his debut for his current yard at Doncaster last month. Best just watched.
Forecasts
Burrows Park (10/3), Sizing Cusimano (7/2), Asylo (7/2), Eur Gone West (6/1), Aliandy (10/1), Turangi (10/1), Ravensdale (16/1), The Vocalist (20/1), Never Equalled (25/1), The Rory Story (28/1), Mountain Ranger (66/1)
The is likely to be more to come from BURROWS PARK, who is following a tried and trusted path set out by his very capable trainer. The gelding has a 7lb higher mark to contend with today but has bags of scope for improvement and is forwarded as the most interesting candidate here. Handicap debutante Eur Gone West appelas as a threat on these terms, while The Vocalist reverts to hurdles on a fair mark and also merits a second look in the betting. Sizing Cusimano is another who would be dangerous to underestimate.
- Burrows Park
- Eur Gone West
- The Vocalist
