Very nicely bred New Approach colt who could do no more than slam three modest rivals at Beverley in September when hacking up on his only start to date. No fancy entries but should go well for yard that remains in decent form.
Looked tricky at stalls and was beaten a long way on only start for Jamie Osborne at Sandown in June. Debut for new yard but hard to fancy on evidence so far.
Six runs and has finished third on each of his last five, most recently at Wolverhampton on first start since a wind operation. Has ability and stayed on nicely last time suggesting he may be sharper now.
Rare Flat runner for top jumps trainer. Well beaten on debut in bumper but did better on Flat when fourth at Kempton earlier this month. Good jockey rides again and market should be well worth noting.
Mount Nelson colt whose dam won on Fibresand at up 1m6f. Likely to need further in time and should benefit from this first racecourse outing.
Only second ever Flat runner for top jumps trainer. Showed nothing in four starts in France (two hurdles) for previous yard and was tailed off in Southwell maiden hurdle on debut for current connections. Looks to have a mountain to climb.
Dutch Art filly who cost 165,000 guineas as a yearling. Only modest but has improved with racing and best yet when second in C&D handicap last time off 2lb lower mark. Another step forward needed to score.
Cheap 800 guineas Rip Van Winkle filly who was asleep when stalls opened on debut Kempton earlier this month, finishing tailed off. Hard to fancy and may do better once handicapped next year.
Champs Elysses filly who ran third last time although a long way behind the first two in C&D novice event. May be more streetwise now but a place appears the best she can hope for.

Charles Kingsley (8/13), Gates Pass (4/1), Beauty Salon (5/1), Twist (6/1), Sacred Sprite (12/1), Queen Of Paris (20/1), Cosmic Landscape (25/1), Golden Etoile (33/1), Zahraani (50/1), Irving's Girl (66/1)
Although he has to give away weight all round, CHARLES KINGSLEY is open to any amount of improvement having bolted in on his only outing in a modest affair at Beverley in September. He may turn out to be decent. Both Gates Pass and Twist should make a race of it and either could take advantage if the selection fails to deliver, while Sacred Sprite looks the most interesting of the fillies in the line up.
