Unplaced in three point-to-points and three races under rules so far. Change of codes and trainer here but run looks set to continue.
Chepstow maiden hurdle winner placed in all races since apart from Cheltenham Festival Grade One (200/1). Should prove competitive here based on hurdles form if his jumping is sound.
Point-to-point and dual hurdles scorer made a few errors before finally pulling up at Bangor on his recent chase bow but given that was his first run un 602 days he should come on plenty.
Placed in lone point-to-point before winning first two hurdles. Second subsequently in a Listed contest to end term. Started out over fences with impossible task behind top-class Kalashnikov but genuine claims here.
Smart dual hurdles winner on soft ground made some progress last time out when fifth of seven at Carlisle. More needed but hurdles form certainly entitles him to go close here so leading player.
Forecasts
Scorpion Sid (1/1), Diablo De Rouhet (11/4), Slanelough (5/1), Mr Mcgo (5/1), Burning Sands (150/1)
Lightly raced SCORPION SID had no chance behind Kalashnikov first time over fences but gets the nod here given his progressive nature over hurdles and attractive chase pedigree. Slanelough hasn't yet hit the heights over hurdles but he was smart over hurdles and should go well here. Diablo De Rouhet is the only first-time chaser but up to going well if he jumps soundly.
- Scorpion Sid
- Slanelough
- Diablo De Rouhet
