Placed on her last two starts on the AW running her best race last time when trying this trip for the first time but does remain a maiden. Easy to back despite being ridden by a fully-fledged rider but is now apprentice ridden again.

This will be her 3rd handicap start but she needs to bounce back from a poor display last time (clearly not right though; folded tamely). Blinkers worn (first-time) last time are retained; initial run at this track, best effort at 6f.

Appeared far too keen last time when appearing in a visor (took strong hold) over 1m last time and folded quickly in the final furlong. Looks as though he may be capable off this mark if learning to settle properly; first try over 7f in handicaps.

Handicap debutante who looked unsuited by the drop to 6f last time on her qualifying run (not bred for that trip). Looks the sort who can cope with this mark and will be far better suited by this return to 7f; outside draw a worry though.

Looked an even harder ride last time out on his 2nd handicap start and remains with just one standout piece of form to his name having looked the type for this test originally. Can be slow away with his best effort coming at 6f; not hard to ignore.

Well below form over C&D last time having failed to impress on her nursery debut on the AW over the same trip. Now 7lb below her original rating but will need more help from the handicapper and her new yard to rejuvenate her; draw no help either.

A winner on his AW/handicap debut he travelled well and found for pressure to land a race at Kempton in August off a 4lb lower mark. Disappointing after he ran better last time (possibly improve for that) and not written off on that basis.

Has really only once shown any promise in handicaps on his 2nd try in this sphere coming from a fair way back to finish a sound enough 5th at Kempton over 7f. Raced too freely last time (cheekpieces now on); jockey booking takes the eye.

Broke his maiden with a C&D win last time having failed to convince over 1f further on two previous occasions. The win was an improvement on his previous form with a strongly-run race looking to suit him; 5lb higher but has to be respected.

Modest maiden who has finished well down the field on her last two starts offering little on her AW debut last time over a longer trip at Wolverhampton. Cheekpieces (first-time) and a 5lb drop in the weights have ensued; more needed.

Well held in minor events/maidens at sprint trips and now steps up to 7f for her handicap debut. Initial run comes off a near basement mark but hasn't shown anything that would make her of interest here.

Appears to be regressing rather than progressing with an underwhelming debut on soft ground at Ffos Las still her best effort. Ran poorly after a break on her AW (1m) debut last time and makes limited appeal on her handicap debut.

Second runner in the race for the trainer with his one having equally poor prospects as his other runner. This gelded son of Foxwedge has made little impact in varied events (including handicaps) over a variety of trips; not hard to overlook.

Verdict

Only a low-grade affair that if it is run at a decent pace looks to give KEEP IT COUNTRY TV a good chance of following up his C&D win in a slightly better grade last time. Freesia Gold could have done with a kinder draw but she’s one to take into account on her handicap debut returned to 7f which will suit her much better. Precision Prince and Where’s Perle are a couple of others that are worth keeping an eye on especially the latter with Adam Kirby again taking the ride and the Wolverhampton form having been franked already by the next time out wins of the 2nd and 3rd.
