Won a 2m2f Claimer when last seen in France in September but shaped like a non-stayer over 2m4f on English debut and will need to settle better here.
Reported to have scoped badly following Bumper debut in the spring but did nothing wrong on hurdles bow here last month when beating horses who have run creditably since. Obvious claims of defying a penalty.
Hurdling debut today off the back of some tame efforts on the Flat of late over 2m. Had won in the spring on soft ground in that sphere but something to prove at present.
Beat Sam Spinner in a Bumper here in 2016 but was then off the track until hurdling debut at Newbury a month ago when making no show in a warm looking maiden. Surely capable of better in this sphere.
Ability in 3 bumpers when last seen in 2016 but has obviously had issues since and probably best watched on belated hurdling debut.
Best at 6 and 7f on the Flat and not surprisingly shaped like a non-stayer on hurdling debut and that may be the case again here.
His 1m4f Bumper win in France last year has worked out well but was easily beaten on hurdling debut at Sedgefield recently when sent off 4/6. May have needed that run and should come on for it but will need to.
Won a low grade 1m6f handicap on the Flat this summer but has shown very little in a pair of hurdles though eligible for handicaps after this.
Landed a good ground Bumper at Market Rasen in the spring. Pulled up on hurdling debut but said to have been suffering from a breathing problem so entitled to do better in due course.
Makes hurdling debut having built on each of his three runs in bumpers in the spring. Bumped into a smart prospect on the last of those and interesting if he takes to hurdles.
Takes very little racing and no sign of ability in bumpers or hurdles to date and easy to look elsewhere.
Little in the way of ability in a trio of starts in bumpers and a hurdle and sold for £7,500 since last seen.

Betameche (13/8), Imperial Acolyte (7/4), Eclat De Star (7/1), Defi Sacre (7/1), Northern Soul (12/1), Archippos (12/1), Enfin Phil (25/1), Captain Moirette (25/1), Classic Seniority (25/1), Sixties Star (25/1), Ice Galley (66/1), Vintage Glen (66/1), Teals Lad (250/1)
IMPERIAL ACOLYTE created quite an impression over C&D last month and that sets the standard on form with the promise of more to come. It will be interesting to see if Betameche can recapture his smart Bumper form of the past while Defi Sacre is worth monitoring in the market.
