6/1
Grade 3 winner at Navan last month but put in his place since in the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse (2m, good). May be more suited to this track but still has work to do seemingly.

Daly Tiger29
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: Sean Flanagan| T: N Meade| D
7/2
Maiden hurdle winner last month at Punchestown over this trip, stepping right up in company here but must be respected for top connections.
3

Due Reward18
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: Rachael Blackmore| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  133| D
8/1
Progressing nicely over timber, winning three times in handicaps. Taking a sharp rise in class now however and ought to be found out by some of these.

Triplicatet25
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-10| J: Mark Walsh| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  142| D
9/4
Holds Aramon on September's Listowel success and runner-up finish in the Royal Bond this month. Should be going very close in this field.
5
Horse silk
5/2
2-2 over timber, latest being a Grade 3 Mares Novice at Down Royal last month over this trip. Should be a danger to all and has Geraghty's vote.
6
Horse silk
Tintangle28
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| D
16/1
Faller on hurdles debut but made amends with determined Thurles success last month against her own sex. This is clearly tougher but capable of improving again.

Forecasts

Triplicate (9/4), Sancta Simona (5/2), Daly Tiger (7/2), Aramon (6/1), Due Reward (8/1), Tintangle (16/1)

Verdict

The McManus duo might have this between them and, despite Barry Geraghty siding with Sancta Simona, slight preference is for TRIPLICATE. Joseph O'Brien's charge was runner-up in the Royal Bond last time and holds Aramon (third) on that form and their Listowel Harvest meeting. There should be more to come from him and he's taken to win this. The mare meanwhile won a Down Royal Grade 3 last time and is sure to run a big race with her allowance, but this should be plenty tougher for her. That connections of Daly Tiger come straight here after a maiden hurdle success suggests they think plenty of him.
  1. Triplicate
  2. Sancta Simona
  3. Aramon
