Appeared to run very well on chasing bow when good fourth to useful Santini at Newbury last month. Raised 3lb but should still prove very competitive with a clear round.
Got his act together over fences at fourth time of asking when good second to Ramses De Theille (runs in Welsh National) over C&D 19 days ago. 2lb higher now but chance if reproducing a similar level.
Very progressive sort in handicap hurdles last winter and began well over fences when second over C&D on seasonal reappearance. May have won but for nodding on landing at last so looks to have solid claims despite 7lb higher mark.
Consistent in novice hurdles last season but made no show and blundered when behind on chaisng bow at Ascot last month. Will do well to step up to win this after that.
Youngster who has always looked as though chasing might be his game. Won twice over hurdles last winter and improved on most chasing bow when second at Bangor earlier this month. More needed but that is not out of the question.
Beginning to feel the pinch on chasing bow at Cheltenham when falling at 16th. Not a bad effort overall but more needed in another competitive event.

Forecasts
Yalltari (2/1), Fleminport (5/2), Skipthecuddles (4/1), Prime Venture (11/2), Coningsby (7/1), Bob Mahler (10/1), Brynmawr (11/1), Babytaggle (50/1)
SKIPTHECUDDLES is taken to defy top weight having run very well on his chase debut at Newbury behind the talented Santini. It won't be easy, but he can come out on top. Yaltari is respected and has been in good form, and Prime Venture appeared to be getting the hang of this game when runner-up last time out over C&D. Coningsby could run better than his figures indicate having been a bit unlucky to date.
