Made a good impression winning and Irish point-to-point 13 months ago and was purchased for £100,000. Makes Rules debut for top yard and should be fit enough to do himself justice.

Bought for £60,000 after winning Irish maiden point-to-point last year. Faded from 2f out in bumper on British debut in April and may be best watched for the time being.

Handled heavy ground well when making a winning debut under Rules in bumper at this track a year ago. Not disgraced on return earlier this month and should strip fitter for this hurdles debut.

Cost £100,000 after winning Irish maiden point-to-point last April. Shaped well when third on Rules debut at Carlisle but beaten odds-on last time at Hexham and needs to raise his game.
Showed litle in two bumpers for Polly Gundry in early 2017 and not seen since. Makes debut for new yard but appears to be up against it in this company.

Won Limerick bumper last term for previous yard and has shaped with promise on both British starts for new connections. May prove well served by step up in trip and has prospects.

Promise when runner-up on only start in point-to-points and purchased for a hefty £145,000. Again caught the eye when second on Rules debut in Exeter bumper and should go well on hurdles bow over longer trip.
Close second on Rules debut in Doncaster bumper last term but made no mistake at Warwick four weeks later. Ran well for a long way promising fourth in Warwick hurdle earlier this month and should strip fitter.

Placed in both bumpers last term but has been a little disappointing in three starts so far over timber and others make more appeal on this occasion.
£90,000 purchase last spring after running second in Irish point-to-point a few weeks earlier. Bred to stay and interesting to see if there is any market support for him on Rules debut.

Half-brother to decent chaser Ackertac. Creditable third on Rules debut in Cheltenham novice event and only just run out of it when favourite over C&D five weeks ago. Should be there or thereabouts once again.

Hinted at ability in three starts a couple of seasons ago but absent for 614 days and likely to be better for the run back. Probably one to do better once handicapped.

Horse silk
13/2
Unconsidered but shaped well when 40/1 runner-up on debut over two miles at Ffos las and may be better served by this extra half mile. Worth noting for any market interest.

Won Warwick bumper on debut in March 2017 but patchy form since over hurdles. Weakened very quickly when well beaten at Lingfield on seasonal return and looks to be up against it.

Hasn't shown much to write home about in five starts so far over hurdles and appears most unlikely to break her duck in this decent company.

Kingsplace (4/1), Jammy George (9/2), Nativegetaway (9/2), Blackjack Kentucky (6/1), Present Value (13/2), Hill Sixteen (10/1), Jasmin Des Bordes (12/1), Stop The World (14/1), Landofsmiles (25/1), Dramatic Pause (28/1), Shivermetimbers (33/1), Maypole Class (33/1), Point Of Departure (50/1), Clondaw's Answer (66/1), Italian River (125/1), Bean Liath (200/1)

Verdict

KINGSPLACE may be the value in an interesting opener have run well until tiring from the last on his seasonal return in a fair event at Warwick. Blackjack Kentucky could prove to be a serious threat having impressed when winning in a point-to-point after which he was bought for a tidy sum and has joined a top yard. Jasmin Des Bordes is another who should go well. There are a host of potential improvers, among them Jammy George, Maypole Class, Native Getaway and Present Value.
  1. Kingsplace
  2. Blackjack Kentucky
  3. Jasmin Des Bordes
