Without a win in 15 handicap starts including a 14L defeat at Punchestown last month. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Gelding who has been running well in defeat and deserves a change of luck but is likely to find one or two better handicapped sorts loitering.
Nothing of note in a series of desolate efforts since March last year. Makes little appeal in this heat.
Winner of one of his seven chase starts but the Turtle Island gelding isn't getting any younger and may find this a tough assignment.
Running well in defeat at Thurles last month behind Whatsinthecorner and Barna Venture, before putting the record straight on Saturday beating Barna Venture 8L. In good form with himself and another bold show looks likely.
Needs to improve on his third of 11 beaten 19L behind Seskin Flyer on Saturday. Worth a market check with the yard boasting a 56% win and place strike rate at this meeting since 2015.
Course winner that has also won over the trip. Yard worth a check at this meeting, having saddled four winners from seven runners in the last three years of this Christmas festival. Not to be taken lightly.
Well beaten on return to action following a 10-month break at Clonmel in September. Needs to bounce back in a big way to have a say here.
Sixth of 15 on seasonal debut at Fairyhouse this month which should set him nicely up for this. Yard have had four winners at this meeting in the last three years and overall boast a 19% win and place strike rate.
Only really been competitive once in five starts over fences, a third at Clonmel in his third start. Nothing after that and hard to fancy on first start since May.

Seskin Flyer (1/1), The Ballyboys (7/2), Fairymount Boy (4/1), Instant Smile (10/1), Customer (10/1), Mindsmadeup (12/1), Oscar Lantern (12/1), Golanbrook (33/1), Lettermacaward (33/1), Enduring Love (33/1), Marakoush (40/1)
FAIRYMOUNT BOY should be spot on for this following solid third of 11 at Thurles on Saturday with the yard boasting a 56% win and place strike rate at this meeting since 2015. Ray Hackett's The Ballyboys needs to improve his fencing but has plenty of ability to get competitive and can hit the frame, along with Seskin Flyer, while the J J Walsh-trained Instant Smile can go well at a price.
