Better effort to date when 29½L fifth of 12 to Finawn Bawn in novice at Bangor last time, looking very much a long-term prospect. Needs to improve to beat stablemate Doncesar de Pretot, and likely to be seen to better effect in handicaps.
Useful maiden when trained in France by Philippe Chemin and Christophe Herpin, and sets the standard on placed efforts at Vichy. Has had a wind op prior to debut for current yard, and looks hard to beat.
Picked up for £75,000 on the back of third in Irish point-to-point 12 months ago. Showed more than previously under Rules when 22L sixth of 17 to Nestor Park in maiden at Warwick last time, but more required to win here.
Forecasts
Doncesar De Pretot (4/6), Kilbrew Boy (11/4), Corinto (4/1), Go George Go (66/1)
DONCESAR DE PRETOT has been found a good opportunity on his first start since arriving from France, and should prove too strong for Kilbrew Boy and stablemate Corinto, both of whom appeal as longer-term prospects.
