Looks of fairly limited ability having only completed once in three tries (Irish point-to-points) and been well beaten so far in a couple of novice hurdles at big prices. Hard to see him getting involved here on his third hurdles run.

In fine form on the Flat in 2017 (free-wheeling front-runner) winning five handicaps but struggled of late after winning a handicap early this year over 1m6f. Sold out of Archie Watson's yard (£18,000) in October and now makes hurdling debut.

Hurdles debutante who was runner-up on his only Irish point-to-point start before looking well above average when landing a bumper at Huntingdon on his Rules debut. Ran green there but will know a lot more this time; sure to improve.
Well beaten in two Irish point-to-points (only completed once) and it's been a similar story under Rules in a bumper and two hurdles. Beaten 70L and 38L in his two hurdles starts here over 2m4f; now drops down to a bare 2m for his third run.
Related to some above-average jumpers he looked as though he needed the run on his bumper debut here (shaped better than the final result) back in 2016. Now making his hurdles debut with a long absence to overcome; needs to show ability remains.

Makes his stable/hurdles debut having had three runs in bumpers for John Butler showing only modest form. Showed a little more than before last time out but would need a lot more to get involved here.

Got steadily better in Irish point-to-points with form figures that went P321 although he was a fortunate winner when last seen. Now makes his Rules debut for a yard that run four here but a place looks his best hope.

Hooded for her first run for this yard have previously been with two Irish stables and was fit from point-to-points when finishing a modest 5th last time at Ayr. Steps back in trip to a bare 2m now and form so far nowhere near good enough.
One of a quartet of runners for this yard she looks of little account as things stand having failed to beat a rival home in a brace of bumper outings. Hard to fashion a case for her here.

Has plenty of experience and has run in all three disciplines under Rules as well as point-to-points in Ireland. This will be her third run for this yard but she only beat one home at Chepstow last time; similar fate awaits her here.

100/1
200-1 on both Flat maidens that she's run in so far and not beaten a rival as yet. Now makes her hurdles debut with expectations low.
12
Horse silk
100/1
Low-grade performer on the Flat who has so far compiled a career record of 0-15 and finished last of 10 at Chelmsford when last seen. Makes very little appeal on her hurdles debut.

Forecasts

Collooney (1/2), Brandon Castle (11/4), Maisy Belle (10/1), Test Ride (10/1), Uallrightharry (12/1), Royal Concorde (25/1), Questionation (33/1), Pete's Choice (40/1), Beet Topper (100/1), Dragon Tattoo (100/1), Our Girl Acorn (100/1), Ruby Taylor (100/1)

Verdict

A race that will take very little winning and it’s hard to look beyond the obvious and the above average bumper winner COLLOONEY who makes his hurdles debut having won well at Huntingdon last time. Inveterate Flat front-runner Brandon Castle is an interesting addition to this discipline and if he takes to it he will be the main danger. Most of the others have only shown form that is modest at best although that level of form would be good enough to see Test Ride contest for the places along with Uallrightharry and Royal Concorde if that one still retains his ability after a long absence.
  1. Collooney
  2. Brandon Castle
  3. Test Ride
