Couple of recent falls won't have helped his cause but he handles this track, and heavy gorund, well, and the drop in grade can only aid his chances. Needs to stay on his feet but if doing so, holds a reasonable chance.
First start for new yard having previously been with Shane Nolan in Ireland, no problem with these conditions as he showed when winning in deep ground at Punchestown around this time last year. Yard do well with these types.
Yet to win in 13 starts but there's the odd run that gives hope there's a race in her. Possibly a bit unlucky at Sedgefield in April (unseated when going well) but may need this run after a break. Best watched today.
Came good at Fakenham last time out and handicapper sensible with just a 2lb rise, but of more concern is the totally different conditions he will face here. On that, others make more appeal.
Runs his race more often than not but is an infrequent winner all the same, and tends to finish off his race weakly. Conditions not an issue and will strip fitter for a recent run, but others look more persuasive.
Winner on good ground at Market Rasen in June but form since then has taken a turn for the worse, and he was never in the hunt at Exeter last time. Yard can land a gamble though, so needs a market check.
Wasn't beaten far at Worcester in the summer and showed this ground isn't an issue when third in a better race than this here last time out. Drops in grade and lightly enough raced to improve a touch, so not ruled out.
Moderate on the Flat and hasn't shown much in three starts over hurdles so far. Going handicapping here gives him a more realistic opportunity but needs plenty of improvement all the same.
Just four wins in 61 starts is an obvious sticking point to begin with, and last win now well over two years ago. Conditions fine and has plenty of experience at the track but can only be playing for places at best.
Forecasts
Urbanist (1/1), Live For Today (3/1), Big Picture (8/1), Uno Mas (9/1), Filatore (12/1), Hepburn (14/1), Tudors Treasure (14/1), Flanagans Field (16/1), Zorlu (50/1)
Urbanist is likely to be the focus of attention here, having his first run for a yard that are 4-12 with their runners first time up from other yards over the past year, but he's likely to represent little in the way of value and TUDORS TREASURE makes a bit more appeal. A couple of falls by his name isn't really what you want to see, but these conditions tend to bring out the best in him and he can make the most of the easier company here. With Uno Mas having something to prove on the ground, Live For Today makes more appeal for the bronze.
