Second at Epsom (6f) on debut for current yard, and back to form when a keeping-on fifth at Wolverhampton last time. Has done most of his racing in higher grade, and interesting at this level of competition.
Won a similar contest over C&D last month off 4lb lower, and better than the bare result at Lingfield last time, albeit never really travelling. Needs to step up a little to defy new mark.
Inconsistent sort who was back to form when ¾L second of 12 to The Lacemaker over C&D last time with blinkers tried for the first time. Obvious chances if backing that up, but overall record means caution is advised.
Best effort came over 1m here on debut, and while he wasn't disgraced in a C&D maiden last time, he needs to improve to defy what looks a stiff mark.
Fair third in a C&D novice in September, but has taken backward steps in two handicap starts since (tongue tied, and visored once), and makes limited appeal now.
Won at Wolverhampton in October, but rather a mixed bag since, and proved disappointing last time, so passed over.
On a course hat-trick after a pair of wins for John Butler, so respected, but form of latest C&D win has not worked out, and he appears vulnerable in a stronger race.
Made breakthrough at Wolverhampton in September, and ran at least as well when second there on penultimate start Had excuses after a slow start left her poorly placed last time, but wide draw is not ideal here.
Best effort since leaving Jonjo O'Neill when fourth at Bath in October (goes well there), but below that form subsequently, and others more convincing on balance.
Just two wins from 23 starts but proving very consistent of late and remains on a good mark. Shaped best when second at Lingfield last time, and drawn to attack here, so sure to go well.
Not had much racing on AW, and potentially well handicapped based on turf exploits. May have needed the run after a break at Wolverhampton last time, and not dismissed.

Forecasts
Chica De La Noche (14/5), Soar Above (4/1), Nutini (7/1), Kraka (7/1), Canford's Joy (8/1), Maximum Power (9/1), Reignite (10/1), Picket Line (10/1), Spenny's Lass (16/1), Secret Potion (20/1), Storm Melody (33/1), Ladweb (50/1)
An open race, but a chance is taken on LADWEB here given he's much lower on this surface than on turf, and has had excuses for previous AW runs. Chica de La Noche is in fine form and handicapped to go very close, with Canford's Joy considered given he's been competing creditably in a higher class.
- Ladweb
- Chica De La Noche
- Canford's Joy
