Has been running well in maidens on turf this year without being able to get his head in front before finishing second of eight beaten 1¼L here over 6f last month. Place claims at best.

Invincible Spirit gelding out of a Street Cry mare. Looked over-whelmed in a couple of starts here over different trips. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove over another distance.

Erewhon colt, brother to two winners at 6f-1m3f and half-brother to several more. Well held in two career starts on turf for Johnny Murtagh, best watched on stable and AW debut.

Four-race maiden who shaped with a hint of promise over C&D 12-months ago finishing 3¾L adrift of the winner. Entitled to need the run on return to action.

Poor form in a couple of dour efforts at the Curragh when last seen in August. First time tongue-tie unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.

Filly by Zoffany out of a Galileo mare. Tongue-tie on debut here from a yard that boasts a 47% win and place strike rate at the track in December in the last three years.

Filly by Frozen Power out of a Diesis mare. Has so far disappointed a little in a couple of starts over C&D last month. Form doesn't warrant support here.

First-time blinkers could be the final piece in the jigsaw for the Dark Angel filly who deserves a change of luck following a number of solid career starts since August.

Verdict

The, already, solid and consistent VIEW THE BAY can get off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking under the talented 5lb claimer Ben Coen. Modern Love for trainer Fozzy Stack could prove to be the biggest danger in first time blinkers following a number of promising starts. Al Batal and the Joseph O'Brien-trained Inglelara appear to be the best of the rest.
