Travelled well into the race when winning here at the Open Meeting and he's expected to build on that effort here for a yard that do well with their novice chasers. Has a bit to find on official ratings but not ruled out.
Placed in the 2017 World Hurdle. While unbeaten over fences, he didn't jump particularly well when winning here two starts back when his class got him through. Produced a better effort last time but this is tougher and perhaps a shade vulnerable.
Only third when a short priced favourite at the Open Meeting in a race won by Ibis Du Rheu, not jumping as well as chase debut at Chepstow. Still early days though and gets a 8lb swing in the weights with the aforementioned rival; ought to go well.
Made an encouraging start to life over fences at Exeter last month when runner-up. Plenty more on his plate here but will have learnt plenty from his experience last time and can't be entirely ruled out.
Forecasts
The Worlds End (7/4), Lil Rockerfeller (2/1), Ibis Du Rheu (7/2), Gunfleet (9/2)
A competitive little heat and it's THE WORLDS END who makes most appeal now in receipt of weight from his conquerer last time out, Ibis Du Rheu. That rival is expected to run well again here while Lil Rockerfeller is still unbeaten over fences and is another with claims if he can put in a clear round.
