Was easy to back on debut, when beaten 48L at Ffos Las in October. Stable has a 16% strike rate in this discipline, however, so he is another who could do significantly better.
€4,400 at three. Not sold £14,000 also at three. Half-brother to two bumper winners and two other winners over obstacles. Trainer does have some bumpers, so well worth a market check.
50-1 but showed some ability on debut in May, when 13½L fourth at Ludlow (good). Softer ground and another break to overcome here, and trainer has not had a bumper winner in several seasons.
Made a promising debut at Carlisle (soft) in April. May have needed his reappearance (also possible that good ground wasn't ideal). Can probably produce better and is not ruled out of the frame.
Trainer has an enviable 25% strike rate in this discipline and this gelding is out of a half-sister to the high-class hurdle/chase winner Quito De La Roque. Should be able to acquit himself well on debut.
Minor promise in both starts so far and hard to believe that there won't be a few too good again here.
Full-brother to the very smart hurdler/chaser Irish Saint. Represents top stable with a 25% strike rate in bumpers. Should give a good account.

Forecasts
Welsh Saint (1/1), Roque It (3/1), Cosheston (11/2), Banana Joe (6/1), Allonok (8/1), Calum Gilhooley (33/1), Timeforaspin (33/1), Camlad Kingfisher (66/1)
Allonok was clearly disappointing on debut, but that experience should still be of some benefit and with the yard still in good form, he should be able to show a fair bit more. Banana Joe is not written off, along with Cosheston, but the strike rate of both Olly Murphy and Nicky Henderson in bumpers is 25%, so it will probably pay to concentrate on both Roque It and WELSH SAINT. It's a slide rule call between them, with seemingly very little to choose between them on paper, with the latter marginally preferred. The market could prove very informative.
- Welsh Saint
- Roque It
- Allonok
