With David Rees when winning a 2m+ selling hurdle at Stratford in October, and didn't appear to stay the extended 2m3f trip at Stratford on debut for new yard. Followed that with a stinker there last time, and plenty to prove now.
Bidding to complete a hat-trick having won over an extended 2m7f at Huntingdon in October and followed up over 2m4f at Ludlow nine days later. Races off a mark just 2lb higher than for his latest success, and respected.
Ex-hunter chaser who made a winning start in handicaps at Market Rasen, soon clear and rallying gamely when threatened. Nature of this track should suit, and he may well do better still.
A 12 month absence proved to be no problem when making a winning chase debut last season, but he's not really gone on from that, and just respectable efforts over hurdles in the spring when last seen. Bit to prove now, although absence not a worry.
Finished runner-up in a three runner novice chase at Towcester (good) over an extended 2m5f in May, but ran poorly on only subsequent chase start, and mixed bag over hurdles since. Blinkered now, and looks risky.
Has plenty of experience for one his age, but not really progressing, for all he was entitled to need the run after a 12-month break at Ludlow last time. Must step up.
