Two from three on the AW in France but out of form recently over hurdles and this trip likely to stretch his stamina. First run since leaving Gary Moore.
Plummeting in the weights but remains badly out of form since returning from Meydan. Easy to oppose based on recent evidence. .
Became hard to win with for Sir Mark Prescott once she moved firmly into the grip of the handicapper. Shaped well enough over hurdles on stable debut in April but best watched on return with others much better handicapped.
Has form over this C&D and back on an attractive mark, however poor when last seen in April. Can go well fresh but needs recent wind surgery to have worked the oracle.
Won this race last year off a 5lb higher mark and should be fitter for three runs back. Likely to be spot on now and can make a bold bid to follow up.
Been in terrific form this summer although outclassed at Newmarket latest. Welcome drop back in grade but others probably better handicapped now.
Remains on a competitive mark on the AW and found the 1m4f against him last time. Likely to put in an improved performance back up in trip and can be involved.
Well held in two starts following 15 months break. Back on last winning mark and entitled to be fitter now but much more required.
Has improved again with seconds over 1m6f and behind a clear-cut winner over this C&D. Likely has more to offer at these staying trips and can be competitive.
Both wins this year have come on the AW at Wolverhampton and still 1lb higher than last success. Struggled the last twice and form appears to have tailed off.
Forecasts
Sunblazer (9/4), Potters Lady Jane (5/1), Champagne Champ (5/1), Blue Rambler (6/1), Rydan (7/1), Authorized Too (9/1), Maquisard (10/1), Conkering Hero (12/1), Gravity Wave (25/1), Cliff Face (33/1)
Rydan was second in this race last year and is taken to fill the same spot behind the winner SUNBLAZER once again. The latter looks to have been aimed to be at his peak for this and can reverse form with Potters Lady Jane from their last C&D run.
- Sunblazer
- Rydan
- Potters Lady Jane
