Age: 8|  Weight: 11-12| J: R Johnson| T: C L Tizzard| OR:  109| C
7/2
Has winning form at this venue and also scored at Wincanton in April. Looked in need of the run on his reappearance at Exeter last month and can do much better under the champion jockey.
2
Horse silk
Mortens Leam16
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: Philip Donovan(7)| T: M Hawker| OR:  109| CD
5/1
Scored over C&D last month after which he went up 7lb to this mark and finished fifth of 12 at Uttoxeter. Has a bit to find on these terms, but return to this venue is a plus

Here I Am17
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-6| J: M Goldstein| T: Mrs D Grissell| OR:  103| C
14/1
Veteran who does not have too many miles on the clock and has scored twice from 11 runs over fences, including at this track. Should be sharper for recent reappearance run at Huntingdon and is down 2lb.
4

Opecheeh28
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-6| J: Daniel Hiskett(5)| T: D G Bridgwater| OR:  103
10/1
Fair effort to be second at Stratford in October, but was tailed off at Huntingdon on latest outing. Travelled nicely for a long way that day and could be right there if all is well this time.
5
Horse silk
Market Roadt15
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-6| J: Conor Ring(3)| T: Evan Williams| OR:  103| D
11/2
Two wins from eight starts over fences and ran respectably when fourth of eight at Ludlow last month. Needs to take another step forward, but could do so off 2lb lower.
6
Horse silk
Bredon Hill Ladb1,t30
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-5| J: Lucy Gardner(3)| T: Mrs S Gardner| OR:  102| CD
8/1
Winner of six chases who was not disgraced on his return to action after a break at FFos Last last month. Has been dropped 3lb and, as he has shown a liking for this venue, is one to consider in first-time blinkers.
7
Horse silk
Orchestrated21
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-3| J: Callum McKinnes(7)| T: D G Bridgwater| OR:  100| CD
9/1
Stable companion of Opechee and is a C&D winner who scored off 5lb lower at Worcester in July. Recent displays have been disappointing, though, and he needs to bounce back.
8
Horse silk
Invicta Lakeb8
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-1| J: P J Brennan| T: Miss S Smith| OR:  98| C| D
8/1
Winner of five races over hurdles, but is 0-8 over fences. Recent displays have not been encouraging and he was well beaten off this mark at Plumpton last time.
9
Horse silk
Remember Forever12
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-3| J: L P Aspell| T: R Rowe| OR:  86| C
11/2
Four wins from 16 starts over fences, but was pulled up on his most recent outing at Warwick. Bit to prove off 1lb lower, but does know how to get the job done and has won at this track.

Forecasts

Bears Rails (7/2), Mortens Leam (5/1), Market Road (11/2), Remember Forever (11/2), Invicta Lake (8/1), Bredon Hill Lad (8/1), Orchestrated (9/1), Opechee (10/1), Here I Am (14/1)

Verdict

Opechee may fare best of his stable's two runners and is respected, along with the likes of Mortens Leam. Remember Forever and Market Road. However, the vote goes to top-weight BEARS RAILS, who will be sharper for his recent reappearance run at Exeter and has a significant jockey booking. Bredon Hill Lad likes this track and is interesting in first-time blinkers.
  1. Bears Rails
  2. Opechee
  3. Bredon Hill Lad
