Realt Orp112
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: M D Grant| T: D J S Ffrench Davis| OR:  99
40/1
Little to shout about in three runs over hurdles. Handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces, but looks on a stiff initial rating.
2
Horse silk
No No Juliet23
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-11| J: L P Aspell| T: O Sherwood| OR:  98
8/1
Fair first effort in handicaps when fourth of 13 over C&D last month. Down 2lb and has an each-way chance in a moderate contest.
3
Horse silk
Lee Side Ladyp16
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-9| J: N D Fehily| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  96| C
7/1
Three wins from 17 starts over timber, but recent efforts have failed to set the pulse racing. Handicap mark is falling, however, and she is 3lb lower than for her last success.
4
Horse silk
Sixties Idolb,t12
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-7| J: M Goldstein| T: Miss S West| OR:  94| CD
28/1
Second of her two successes over hurdles was achieved over C&D in the summer. Feasibly weighted off 4lb higher, but latest efforts have been below-par.
5
Horse silk
Ballyanticsp123
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-5| J: James Best| T: N P Mulholland| OR:  92
16/1
Maiden over hurdles and fences. Best recent run when second in a Bangor chase in October, but last two runs have been poor.
6
Horse silk
Snazz Man216
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-2| J: Lucy Gardner(3)| T: Mrs S Gardner| OR:  89| CD
9/2
Shed his maiden tag over hurdles at the sixth time of asking when scoring decisively over C&D in May. Off the track since and up 10lb, but is clearly worthy a second look.
7
Horse silk
Hier Encore23
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: Daniel Sansom(5)| T: N Dunger| OR:  88
5/2
Last three runs have been over C&D and each of them has produced a solid effort without getting his head in front. Likely to be on the premises again, but handicap mark has been going up.
8
Horse silk
Jimmy23
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Gordon| OR:  86
8/1
Well behind Hier Encore over C&D last time and has failed to hit the frame in six starts over timber. More needed off falling rating.
9
Horse silk
Willshebetrying216
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-6| J: James Bowen| T: M R Hoad| OR:  79| CWS
14/1
Not seen since finishing down the field over C&D in May. Returns from a break after wind surgery and is worth a check in the betting.
10
Horse silk
Cockney Seagullp17
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-6| J: Thomas Garner| T: Mrs L C Jewell| OR:  79
66/1
First run since May when beaten a long way in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon last month. Hard to make a case for on handicap debut.
11
Horse silk
Eddies Pearl155
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-0| J: Rex Dingle(7)| T: B Forsey| OR:  73
25/1
Point-to-point winner who has been out of the frame in five starts over hurdles, including the last two in handicaps. Plunging rating, but not an obvious contender.
12
Horse silk
Remember Me Well8
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-0| J: P J Brennan| T: R Rowe| OR:  71
33/1
No obvious sings of ability in six starts over hurdles and has been beaten a long way in handicaps in the last two of them. Runs from 2lb out of the handicap.
13
Horse silk
Micquus8
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-0| J: C Brace(7)| T: J W Mullins| OR:  69
11/1
Two ordinary displays since joining current yard from Emma Lavelle. Hard to fancy, especially from 4lb out of the weights.

Forecasts

Hier Encore (5/2), Snazz Man (9/2), Lee Side Lady (7/1), No No Juliet (8/1), Jimmy (8/1), Micquus (11/1), Willshebetrying (14/1), Ballyantics (16/1), Eddies Pearl (25/1), Sixties Idol (28/1), Remember Me Well (33/1), Realt Or (40/1), Cockney Seagull (66/1)

Verdict

Hier Encore has been running well over C&D, but seems harshly treated considering he has yet to get his head in front. It would be no surprise to see him hit the frame again, but this will not take a lot of winning and a tentative vote goes to NO NO JULIET, who has scope for improvement and was not disgraced over C&D last time. While none of the others leap off the page, the likes of Snazz Man, Lee Side Lady, Sixties Idol and Willshebetrying are capable of getting involved.
  1. No No Juliet
  2. Hier Encore
  3. Snazz Man
