Good record here with five course wins on his CV, latest in September from a pound lower in the ratings. Poor effort latest though so must bounce back.

Does his share of winning (13-81), mostly going well on turf over the summer and should be competitive from this mark back on AW, with 7lb claim to boot.

Former course winner back in 2016, may have needed recent reappearance at Chelmsford but pair of C&D efforts back in the spring would put him bang in the mix for this.

Eight-race maiden on the Flat with more to prove than most in this line-up, toiled in two hurdles outings in August when last spotted.

0-13 on the AW but made the frame five times, including over bit shorter here in August. Not repeated it since, likely settles for something similar with step forward now.

Has career record of 11-102, with no less than seven of those wins coming at this track. Beaten 6½L over C&D last time but capable of getting in the mix on a good day.

Forecasts

Planetaria (9/4), Rubensian (3/1), Lunar Deity (9/2), Berlusca (6/1), Barnaby Brook (7/1), Bounderby (16/1)

Verdict

LUNAR DEITY gets his share of wins and has been running well enough on turf of late to warrant a big shout now returned to the AW. Grace McEntee takes a handy 7lb off his back tonight and that should count for plenty in what isn't the strongest finale. Rubensian should be fitter for the run at Chelmsford and has good C&D form to call upon while Planetaria and Berlusca are both capable of mounting challenges.
  1. Lunar Deity
  2. Rubensian
  3. Planetaria
