Fourth career success just over a year ago came over 7f at Chelmsford off a mark of 95. Run just twice since, finishing last of eight over 1m½f here nine days ago. Entitled to strong claims dropped into this company.
Fine strike rate on the AW (8-30), didn't need to be at his best when landing Lingfield claimer over 7f last time. Second in this last year and good chance on first start for new handler.
Record reads 1-14, capable of running good solid races but also been known to throw in an odd poor one. Well below best in 1m Chelmsford handicap recently. Not discounted here.
Well beaten in two Kempton handicaps from there starts on the AW, though did go close in 7f Lingfield claimer in between when trying to close from dawdling pace.
Winner of a Windsor claimer (6f, good to soft) in October, didn't run a bad race in handicap company here over same trip last time under this claiming rider. Should give good account up in distance.
In good form earlier in the year, winning at Lingfield and Chelmsford over shorter trips. Quickly beaten at the latter venue in September when last spotted and tough ask against a couple of these on best form.
Without a win since December 2014. Has had various trainers and was purchased most recently for 8,000 guineas last October. Beaten just under 7L in handicap here over 6f last month.
Maiden winner at Ripon (1m, good to soft) in June 2017, quite lightly-raced since (just four runs on AW), though was badly out of form in three summer turf starts.
Form this season has gone the wrong way and looks easy to swerve on the evidence of his latest three poor efforts.
