Stayed on to pick up some prize money on his reappearance at Bangor, promising more to come now back to this longer trip. Up 2lb, but enters calculations.
Scored over this trip on soft at Southwell in March, when 6lb lower. Well beaten over shorter both runs since, but drops 4lb after reappearing over fences at Carlisle and should be competitive.
Dual winner here, one over C&D (on good to soft). Has since won again over 3m (good) at Perth, when 2lb lower. Well beaten both starts this autumn, however, so has a bit to prove.
Without a win since April and, for all his previous ability, his proven stamina and a love for soft ground, he has twice been beaten from lower marks this year and makes each-way appeal at best.
Cork maiden hurdle winner (2m, good to firm) when with Joseph O'Brien. Respectable effort on stable debut at Carlisle in October. 1lb lower here and still open to improvement, especially now upped in trip. Interesting.
Just got the better of Aspen Colorado when third at Carlisle last time, but does look more exposed. Improvement needed.
Sole success came on soft (3m2½f) at Ayr in 2016, when 2lb lower, for Iain Jardine. Has been some way off that level for the past year or so and recent stable debut did not hint at revival.
Has dropped to 4lb lower than his last win over fences, goes well fresh and stays 3m/acts on soft or heavy. Plenty going for him now back over hurdles for a stable among the winners.
Broke his duck when last seen in a modest Hexham handicap hurdle 13-months ago. Up 9ln for that, but still 2lb 'wrong' here. Also has well being to prove.
Forecasts
Aliandy (5/2), Quids In (3/1), Howth Summit (6/1), Tomkevi (7/1), Wig Wam Wiggle (15/2), Presence Felt (10/1), Dedigout (16/1), Marlee Massie (20/1), Sevenballs Of Fire (33/1)
Marlee Maisie and Howth Summit look the two more interesting northern contenders in this line-up and a win for either would be no surprise, but Kim Bailey has had plenty of success here over the years and he could have another winner with ALIANDY, who could prosper back over this longer trip. Tomkevi and Quids In are not written off.
- Aliandy
- Marlee Massie
- Howth Summit
