Won two competitive turf handicaps in October but lesser effort here next and form in all three AW races less inspired than his form on turf so that the concern until he proves otherwise.

Dual winner for Brian Ellison last year but only ran once for Roger Charlton, a seventh of nine back in May and now changes yards again for his AW debut. Too may doubts to recommend.

Only ran twice since his two-year-old days although he's finished placed in three of four starts. Kept on for fifth over 1m2f here in only 2018 race in September. That effort doesn't give him much to find so possibilities now.

Dual 1m2f winner on turf made a very encouraging start on AW over C&D when coming from the back off a slow pace and passing all bar the winner who rather stole it from the front. Excellent chance to go one better here.

Stayed on for third over 1m2f at Newcastle latest prompting this first try at 1m3f. Rarely runs a bad race although only won once and once again she has sound place claims but is less appealing from win perspective.

Largely consistent for Charlie Hills until flopping in final start. Start for this yard slightly better than that run but still short of best when fifth of eight here so others appeal more at present.

A win and six placed efforts this season for this filly but not made the frame in two most recent races at this course with a fourth and a sixth. Draw here far from ideal either so may do well to better either of those runs.

Three-time 1m4½f winner at Newcastle and also won on turf at Brighton this season. Last three runs however someway short of that and perhaps gone over the top now after a long campaign.

Been consistent all season and gained second 1m4f success latest here where she came through strongly from the rear to win by ½L. 3lb rise and 1f less which are both less than helpful but still expectant she will go well.

10 races without success this season and despite some fair efforts along the way he is of little appeal here having finished 11th behind Point In Time latest over 1m4f.

Three times placed for John Gosden and fair return on stable debut after a 238 day break latest when fourth at Lingfield although he was beaten 11L. More needed now but every chance he comes on for that run.

Won two of three races at the start of the year (both AW) and latest return after long absence encouraging evidence for another successful winter when close sixth here. Fitness likely boosted and genuine possibilities now.

1m4f winner here two starts back and another sound effort latest when a close third behind Point In Time over the same trip. May struggle to get as close this time however given he's 4lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Flaming Marvel (3/1), Point In Time (7/2), Lightening Dance (5/1), Ilhabela Fact (8/1), Tralee Hills (9/1), Unit of Assessment (10/1), Groveman (10/1), Angelina D'or (12/1), Makambe (16/1), Roar (20/1), Camakasi (25/1), Brexitmeansbrexit (28/1), Natch (40/1), Esspeegee (50/1)

Verdict

LIGHTENING DANCE made a very encouraging AW debut over C&D when reeling in all bar the make-all winner off a slow pace and Amanda Perrett's filly has a very decent chance to go one better here. Point In Time looks the main danger based on his win latest where he had a couple of these behind. Another not dismissed is lightly raced Flaming Marvel who is possibly on a generous mark at present.
