Picked up by connections for 20,000 gns and made an immediate impact when just worn down late over this C&D. Got caught wide and raced keenly so should have more to offer at 3lb below last winning mark.

Promise in last two starts and now makes handicap debut. More required but has shaped as though this step up in trip should suit and improvement likely.

Hold-up performer who bounced back to form when winning over 7f here and then a bit short of room when keeping on at Wolverhampton latest. Bit to prove that this extra furlong will suit.

Suited by the step up to this trip when winning with a bit in hand at Lingfield. Looks to have more to offer up in grade and rates a leading contender.

Placed five times in handicaps since switched from Ed Dunlop at the start of the summer before a deserved success at Kempton. Up 3lb and in grade but off a career-best may have more to offer.

Gained an overdue win over 7f here and ran to a similar level when second again over the same C&D. In form and still on a decent mark but may be vulnerable up a furlong and in grade.

Best effort since debut when a staying on second over this C&D. Unsuited by further last time and although a return here could suit, this is a tougher grade.

Front-runner has won two of last four. Up 4lb and in grade and this distance has stretched his stamina in the past.

Verdict

GLORY OF PARIS ran a big race in defeat on stable debut over this C&D and now down in grade should have every chance of going one better. Cuttin' Edge has more to offer at this distance and is moving in the right direction while Global Wonder could kick on now after an overdue win.
