Lightly-raced, best form over 6f, essentially improved again when close second over that trip at Chelmsford latest and respected from same mark up in trip.
Has scored from much higher marks in the past but recent efforts not all that encouraging and must bounce back strongly to get in the mix.
Scored last time at Newcastle over a mile, may not have seen the best of him just yet and needs considering again from 5lb higher mark in this field.
Not the most reliable sort, but has form to be in the mix here if anywhere near best and should be fitter for recent Wolverhampton outing.
Hasn't been sighted since September last year, when trained by Michael Appleby. Has plenty to find on the formbook seemingly and entitled to need this.
C&D winner in May, mixed bag away from here on AW and turf since but recent signs at Wolverhampton of a revival being possible now back here.
Has won over this trip on turf but 0-8 record on artificial surfaces enough to warrant looking elsewhere for the get-out winner.
Has won over 6f around here in January for previous trainer. Well held that trip here in October on debut for new handler, entitled to be fitter this time.
Couple of good efforts as runner-up at Yarmouth (7f, firm) and Lingfield (6f, AW) in the autumn and competitive in one start since at Chelmsford. Maiden, but holds place claims.
Not disgraced over C&D last month, though failed to make frame in the end (fifth) and extended record to 0-14 in the process.
66/1 runner-up over 6f here in November, lacks consistency and was not in the same mood back here 13 days later. Up in distance now and hard to place faith in.
Remains a maiden after 12 starts but hints of promise in that sequence and has gone well on this surface before. Trip no concern and not crossed off on first visit here.
Have to go back to late spring for best efforts this year, has underperformed lately though the drop in trip might help bring about a revival.

Papa Delta (6/4), Viola Park (4/1), Pass The Cristal (13/2), Boxatricks (8/1), Amor Fati (10/1), Slipalongtrevaskis (11/1), Black Truffle (16/1), Kodiac Pearl (16/1), Arctic Flower (20/1), Give Em A Clump (20/1), Istanbul Pasha (28/1), New Rich (33/1), Deer Song (33/1), Atalanta Queen (50/1)
A tricky finale for punters. Papa Delta is improving in this grade and did so again when second at Chelmsford. He runs off the same mark up in trip and should be in the mix. C&D winner Viola Park has been in and out lately, but has shown a few more positive signs ahead of her first run since that May success. Newcastle winner Boxatricks is also on the shortlist, though a 5lb rise does pose a problem. KODIAC PEARL twice finished second over this trip after joining this trainer. A mile at Chelmsford last time didn't suit, but she might be able to take a contest like this from her basement mark if things fall right.
- Kodiac Pearl
- Papa Delta
- Boxatricks
