0-8 under National Hunt rules, but has run with credit in two of his last three chases at around this trip on good ground. More needed to make the frame in this, however.

Ran well at Hereford two starts ago and didn't need to be quite as good to win at Sedgefield (2m½f, good to soft) last week, under a 7lb claimer. Carries 7lb penalty this time, with no claim to take off, but may still be more to come.

Has several pieces of form earlier this year that give him claims from this mark, though pulled up last time and has not won when fresh for over three years. Bit to prove.

Completed a hat-trick in summer 2016, but was not seen again until a 51L defeat t Stratford in October. Drops 2lb, but needs to get right back on track to have a chance.

Has gone well on both his last two starts when second at Wincanton and more recently Hereford, both on good to firm. Same mark again today and entitled to enter calculations.

On a handy mark based on some of his summer form, but has been unable to complete on his last three starts, giving him a fair bit to prove now.

1-27 over fences and despite a good effort at Sedgefield last week, and some decent course form, he is probably playing for places again.

Verdict

Doubts about all of the field, but SHOW'S OVER arrives in winning form and despite having to shoulder a 7lb penalty, the presence of Paddy Brennan might help him eek out that bit more. Little Jimmy has claims if at his best, as does Anti Cool, but Wisecracker could give the selection most to do. Yourholidayisover is another to consider, though winning does not come easy to him.
