In fair form when last seen back in early-2017 but has been absent for over 600 days so there has to be a question mark hanging over her fitness after such a long absence. Still worth considering though with good conditional claiming 7lb.

Stays well and scored in Southwell 3m mares novice hurdle last term. Probably unsuited buy fast ground when pulled up in October. Wears first-time cheekpieces and has been eased in the weights so is not without appeal.

Goes well on testing ground and stayed on nicely to win Exeter 2m7f handicap hurdler penultimate start on debut for current yard. Never travelling when pulled up on quicker ground last time, but conditions should suit here and looks a major player.

Won over this trip in testing ground at Hereford last term and went close at Chepstow on seasonal bow when runner-up in fair event four weeks ago. 2lb higher now but is in form and should be thereabouts again.,

Veteran mare who won twice last term at around 2m4f but has never run over this far in her career. Surprise if she has the stamina but did keep on when fourth on seasonal return at Lingfield last time.

Forecast

Royal Claret (4/5), Bang Bang Rosie (7/2), Jully Les Buxy (4/1), Wishicould (11/2), Snippetydoodah (8/1), Oscar Star (11/1)

Verdict

Both OSCAR STAR and Jully Les Buxy pulled up last time on fast ground when fancied on the basis of good runs previously with give underfoot. Both are forgiven their respective blips and preference is marginally for the former who looks to have that little bit more scope. In a tightly knit race it's hard to rule out any of the six runners, and Royal Claret is certainly respected along with the former Willie Mullins-trained Bang Bang Rosie.
  1. Oscar Star
  2. Jully Les Buxy
  3. Royal Claret
