Off the mark when settling better to win on handicap debut over hurdles off a 3lb lower mark but didn't quite go on from that. Returned over fences (without cheekpieces); looked to need run/experience; needs to jump more fluently this time.
Four-time winner here with two wins over fences (both wins came off lower marks) to his name, one over C&D. Yet to finish unplaced this season and ran into a progressive sort here over 2m last time; honest sort from the front, mark still a stiff one.
Consistent form here over fences (134142) with wins over 2m and 2m4f and only 3lb above his last winning mark. Made a decent return from a break at Hexham in October but disappointed at Ayr last time (contested lead); better than that run.
Dual winner in point-to-points he's yet to score over fences under Rules (0-11) following a good run at Kelso with a poor one over 2m here last time (Civil Unrest 2nd). Can't be totally ruled out back up in trip off a mark he's been competitive off.
In much better form earlier in the season scoring at up to 2m4f on varied going with Southwell the scene of all those wins. Struggled off higher marks since then away from that track and has looked quirky; mark now down to last winning one.
