Was badly out of form when last in action but that was over a year ago. Returns from a long lay-off on a very dangerous mark and market check is essential here.
Not firing on all cylinders of late but more than capable on his day off this sort of mark. Reproduction of his run at Musselburgh back in September would put him bang in the mix but hard to know what to expect.
Has been struggling this year and has looked in need of the run since his return to action this winter. Pulled hard and didn't get a clear run here over C&D two weeks ago. On a fair mark if everything falls right.
Three-time C&D winner who bounced back to form here last time when only headed late on. Dropped another 2lb here which makes him very dangerous once again if in the same mood.
Didn't seem in love with the surface when tailed off at Southwell on Tuesday. Remains a maiden despite some decent efforts. Hood goes on first time but others appeal more.
Well backed dropped into class 7 company at Newcastle (7f) last time and won well despite missing the break. Can't afford to miss the break here from this draw and 6lb penalty makes life tougher.
Previous C&D winner that has largely been out of form so far this year. Dropped to a dangerous mark (17lb below last win) and the booking of Adam Kirby from a good draw may suggest an improved effort is on the cards.
Previous C&D winner who's best efforts are saved for this track. Ran well for a long way at Kempton two weeks ago and likely to try and make all from a good draw.
Only had six starts and remains a maiden at this stage. Taken a slight backward step the last twice and now the blinkers have been added. Needs plenty more.
Remains a maiden after 16 attempts and has always shaped like this trip stretches her a bit. Mark continues to fall but needs to run right up to her best to be winning this.
Yet to win in 19 starts but ran as well as ever when a close third over C&D last month. Nudged up 1lb for that and needs a little more once again.
Badly out of form in Ireland and mark has tumbled as a result. Starts life for a new yard here from a difficult draw and market maybe best guide.
Forecasts
False Id (7/4), Viola Park (9/2), Binary Code (6/1), Gulland Rock (9/1), Madame Jo Jo (9/1), Magical Molly Joe (10/1), Admirable Art (16/1), Hollywood Dream (16/1), Astrophysics (18/1), No Approval (25/1), Sophisticated Heir (33/1), Gower Gold (80/1)
Not a bunch to rely on here so any result would not really surprise. False ID won well at Newcastle at the basement level earlier in the week and despite carrying a penalty has sound claims again with solid form thin on the ground. Madame Jo Jo and Viola Park should be competitive again at a venue they both like. We will take a chance that today is the day for ADMIRABLE ART who is chucked in on his old form and has Adam Kirby on board from a decent draw.
- Admirable Art
- False Id
- Madame Jo Jo
