Has been left toiling in a number of recent starts since the turn of the year. C&D winner but long losing run looks set to continue here.
Winner of this event 12-months ago beating 14 rivals 5½L off a 7lb lower mark. Out of form and well held since and difficult to see a repeat performance.
Winner of his only C&D start over 12-months ago winning a novice chase on soft to heavy ground. Out of luck recently but could go well if jumping more fluently.
Gelding who has been running well in defeat in four chase starts since October, hitting the frame on each occasion. Likable type who should be in the mix.
Off the mark over fences at the fifth time of asking for connections in a Cork handicap chase last month off a 9lb lower mark. Life more difficult under a penalty but very much a leading player here.
Encouraging start to chasing career finishing second in his last couple of starts at Listowel and in October over C&D when beaten 15L behind Hardline. Could prove to be a big threat to the main protagonists.
Won a Limerick beginners chase in March but has been tailed off in three starts since and impossible to make a case for in this contest.
Has the look of an improving sort following his third of eight beaten 2½L behind Peacocks Secret at Naas last month. Open to more progress here with significant jockey booking.
Winner of two of his 18 starts over this trip. Rather late recruit to the chasing game well held on both starts to date at Tipperary and over C&D last month behind Ellie Mac.

The Voix Du Nord gelding can land the spoils here from Arvico Bleu who shapes like a strong chasing type and the J P McManus-owned All The Answers.
