Encouraging return third at Huntingdon not backed up since at Ayr where he was well below par. 6lb below last winning mark now so clearly capable but suspicion is he goes best fresh.
12 starts since his last win have only yielded a couple of remote thirds one of which came last time out when upped to 4m as he was beaten some 35L. Handicap falling but risky proposition nevertheless.
Almost two years since last win at Ayr and jumping mistakes continue to hinder him. Faded fast after leading for a while on return at Ayr and was eventually tailed off. Hard to fancy on balance.
Gained second success, first for this yard last time out when getting the best of a driving finish at Hexham. First two well clear there and suspect subsequent 4lb rise is more than fair so is expected to follow up.
Pulled-up in four of his last five since winning at Stratford in April. Has a nasty habit of popping up when you least expect it and that certainly the case here.
Former Irish trained chaser won at Hexham last season but pulled up in final three starts of the campaign and season cut short. Reappears for new yard here but would have to be considered a risky proposition.

Forecasts
Inchcolm (11/10), Alto Des Mottes (4/1), Golden Investment (5/1), Alices Man (7/1), Attention Please (7/1), Titian Boy (12/1), Sgt Bull Berry (22/1)
In a race where recent form is far from compelling for the majority recent winner INCHCOLM looks to have an exceptionally strong chance to follow up if in the same vein of form as he was at Hexham. Last year's runaway winner Attention Please was a mile behind the selection last time but surely didn't give a true account. Golden Investment was disappointing latest but does have an appealing handicap mark at present.
