Won an Irish point-to-point at the third attempt in May and bought for £68,000 shortly after. Tailed off on Rules bow at Ffos Las this month, but showed ability and will do better in time.
€21,000 half-brother to 3 winners, including useful hurdler/chaser Shotavodka. Showed some talent on debut in Towcester bumper in May and this longer trip likely to suit on hurdles bow.
Cost £65,000 after winning an Irish point-to-point on his debut in May by 10L. Showed plenty to work on when fourth of 16 at Chepstow on hurdles debut, and every chance if improving on that.
Half-brother to a pair of French bumper winners but just poor form in two runs in that sphere, having joined current yard for €26,000 prior to latest outing at Fakenham in the spring.
Getaway gelding who cost £90,000 following a debut point-to-point success. Went close on bumper debut, and better effort over hurdles when 5¾L third of 14 to Weather Front in novice at Hexham last time. Claims with a repeat.
Hails from family of smart but ill-fated chaser Granit Jack. Won his sole start in Irish point-to-points for John Nallen, and joined current yard for £100,000. Shaped well in a Newbury bumper recently, and looks a good prospect for hurdles.
Fairly useful but untrustworthy Flat stayer, who joined current yard for £80,000. Didn't shape badly over inadequate 2m at Ascot on first attempt over hurdles, and should do better at this trip.
Did win a point-to-point, but yet to show much under Rules for current connections, and makes limited appeal here.
Went the wrong way on the Flat, and has been well beaten in two starts over hurdles to date. May do better when handicapping, but of no great interest here.
Knocked down for £90,000 at Cheltenham in November 2017 as the winner of a maiden point-to-point for Gavin Cromwell, and not knocked about when mid-field in a Carlisle bumper for new yard recently. Likely to leave that bare form behind.
Forecasts
Drumlee Watar (13/8), Minella Bobo (9/4), Nadaitak (6/1), Hitman Fred (7/1), Alfie Corbitt (12/1), Weakfield (14/1), Eclair De Guye (33/1), Budding Robin (50/1), Pullman Brown (150/1), Nine O Three (200/1)
MINELLA BOBO shaped much better than his finishing position would suggest on his bumper debut at Newbury, and this point-to-point winner appeals as the type to make his mark quickly over hurdles. Drumlee Watar has a similar profile, and is feared most, ahead of the more experienced Hitman Fred.
