Bumper/hurdles winner, not one of the stars of Seven Barrows and work to be done on previous form if hoping to successfully concede weight all round. Untried on soft going.
Lightly-raced maiden, pulled up on chase bow at Kempton last month, 0-5 in this sphere but has shown promise on occasion and not out of it.
Promising form last season without winning in three starts, handles cut in the ground and perhaps will be fitter after disappointing return at Carlisle (2m4f, good) this month (sent off favourite).
Fred Winter sixth at Cheltenham in March but hasn't fired in two starts since coming back in and hard to be confident in despite sliding mark.
Won a maiden hurdle at Perth (2m, good) in May when last spotted, has work to do back in handicap company however and far from certain to go well fresh.
Irish maiden hurdle winner in May 2017 over this sort of trip on soft ground. May prove better than he showed on stable bow/return from a break at Uttoxeter (2m7½f, good to soft) last month.
Maiden hurdler, wears first-time cheekpieces here and has work to do in order to justify current rating.
Maiden, shaped with promise this month on return at Hereford over similar trip before just appearing as if in need of the run. Off the same mark, has to be worth considering here.
Latest hurdles win came over 2m2f at Newcastle in May 2016 off an 8lb higher mark. Not really taken to chasing either side of a wind operation and summer break but could be well-handicapped back over timber.
Novice hurdle winner over 2m3f here on heavy going last December, inconsistent since but earned third career win over timber at Hereford (2m5½f, good) this month. Has been bumped up 9lb for that win.
Won a 2m Ludlow maiden hurdle on soft going in January, some promise in handicaps after but yet to convince this trip is needed and poor in both starts since having wind surgery over the summer. Back up in trip.
Some promising novice form in late 2016/early 2017 and showed up well to be second at Bangor (2m3½f, good) last month after 647 days away. Bumped up 2lb but player if going as well 30 days on.
Plumpton specialist, recorded his fifth hurdles win at that track recently (0-23 elsewhere) but should find this race much tougher and is away from his favourite venue now.
Six-race maiden hurdler, won on the AW at Kempton prior to running mighty race at Cheltenham (2m5f, good) on conditionals event under this rider 11 days ago. 7lb 'well-in' on that evidence and a player here.

An open heat and the betting will prove invaluable but UNBLINKING will be a threat to all if repeating his recent Cheltenham second. He goes unpunished for that run in a conditionals contest and should go close under the same rider now. Hastrubal showed he retain ability despite a long layoff when second at Bangor and has been given a month to get over those exertions. Storm Control, Samson's Reach and Ballygown Bay are notables, with last-named a likely improver after a promising reappearance at Hereford.
