Very useful over hurdles having won a Scottish Champion Hurdle in 2017 and been placed in three big handicap hurdles in the spring. Has twice shown up well over fences against some useful prospects and remains with potential in this sphere.

15/8
Chase debutant who very much looks the type for this discipline having shown some useful form over hurdles. Possibly should have won more over hurdles but can't be ruled out on his debut over fences although his concentration can wander.

Notre Amih13
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-2| J: L P Aspell| T: N J Gifford| OR:  122| BF| C| D
12/1
Course winner over hurdles (one of his two hurdles wins) who has already been given a try over fences albeit an inauspicious one on his debut. Ran well back over hurdles behind a well-handicapped sort and now returns to fences for another try.

Forecasts

Chesterfield (4/7), Dell Oro (15/8), Notre Ami (12/1)

Verdict

The race has a similar make-up to the first race on the card with just three going to post and it probably offers CHESTERFIELD who is the best of these on hurdles ratings the chance to get off the mark over fences. His two starts in this sphere have shown him to be effective over the larger obstacles despite his Flat pedigree and he may well put his experience to good use over a debutante and one who didn’t impress over fences the first time around. The debut runner is Dell Oro who looks sure to be effective in this discipline but lacks experience while Notre Ami didn’t really take to chasing on his penultimate start.
