High-class staying hurdler who is 2-2 over fences. Did not impress with his jumping last time and needs to sharpen up in that respect, but looks in a different league to these rivals.
Winner of seven successive hurdles from 2015 to 2017. Recent efforts have not been so good, but he probably needed his reappearance run at Newbury. Well held on his only previous start over fences.
Winner of two handicap hurdles earlier this year and made a sound enough start over fences when second to an odds-on shot over C&D earlier this month. Should be wiser for the experience.
Dual point-to-point winner who was unplaced in there runs over hurdles. Should do better now he is chasing, but is best watched in this company.
Forecasts
Lil Rockerfeller (4/11), Tobefair (5/2), Hoo Bally Diva (10/1), St Erney (33/1), The Overflow (66/1), Norse Da (200/1)
Providing he jumps round safely, LIL ROCKERFELLER should be too classy for these rivals. Tobefair would be able to give him a race on the best of his hurdles form, but he has a bit to prove at the moment and a bigger danger to the favourite may be Hoo Bally Diva, who made a satisfactory start to his chasing career when runner-up over C&D.
