Three time winner including final start of last campaign at Wincanton. Upped 11lb for that which saw her only manage fourth of seven on return at the same venue two weeks ago. May strip fitter now but handicap looks steep.
Warwick heavy ground winner was placed in two of her three subsequent starts last season with the only exception a Newbury Grade Two contest. Open to improvement at her relatively young age but quicker ground an unknown.
Dual soft ground winner last winter finished fifth the next twice in warmer contests and started this season by finishing fourth as favourite up at Carlisle. More needed off the same mark but had a wind-op recently and expecting a bold bid now.
Bolted up over this trip on heavy ground at Newton Abbot penultimately prompting an 11lb rise but still managed a good second at Hereford last time out. Gets another 6lb for her troubles but can't be ruled out given her current form.
Won first three hurdles races before falling at the first next time out and missing 306 days afterwards, Best effort since the layoff where she kept on for third at Wincanton and could build on that now.
Effortless winner of a 2m Worcester Novice hurdle first time out before a shade disappointing next at Wetherby (fifth of six). Stayed this sort of trip last season so no issues going back up and this once classy bumper horse commands respect.
Had several of these behind when third in a Newbury Grade Two handicap last season and again ran well next when fourth of 17 at Cheltenham when last seen. Both races were over 1f shorter and she will relish the step up here so has leading claims.
Good ground loving seven-time hurdles winner landed a double in May and June and ran one of her best races since when 4L third at Fontwell. Likable sort but vulnerable against less exposed rivals here.
Just the one positive run in her five hurdle races so far, a 50/1 second at Huntingdon last March. One run subsequently last season and start out this term well short of that however so rates a risky proposition.
Three-time hurdle winner kept busy on the flat lately and ran a sound enough race latest when second at Newmarket over 2m. Over two years since last win over obstacles and recent form over them less than compelling.
Bumper winner makes handicap bow after a fourth and two fifths so far in novice hurdles. Time is on her side but will need to step up if she is to get involved here.
Forecasts
Petticoat Tails (10/3), Oscar Rose (5/1), Sensulano (7/1), Talent To Amuse (15/2), Perfect Summer (8/1), Jubilympics (8/1), Malindi Bay (9/1), Little Miss Poet (10/1), Miss Mash (16/1), Kentford Heiress (20/1), Petronella Manners (50/1)
JUBILYMPICS was progressing well towards the end of last season and she stays very strongly so a slight step u p in trip ought to help, the booking of Barry Geraghty is a positive sign of intent first time out so she gets the nod. Oscar Rose is a big threat and Fergal O'Brien's mare will be particularly dangerous if getting an uncontested lead. Talent To Amuse may have had issues but her latest run was a step in the right direction and she could be ready to go close now.
- Jubilympics
- Oscar Rose
- Talent To Amuse
