Son of Dubawi who fetched 550,000 gns as a yearling. Improving with each run and having won his last two starts in novice company, doesn't look overly burdened here on handicap debut. Should be plenty more to come and major player.
Hasn't raced beyond 6f on the AW thus far (0-2), but was a winner over that trip at Nottingham (firm) in June; couldn't be totally dismissed from an ever easing handicap mark with the blinkers back on and Adam Kirby up.
Not had many chances and after winning really well at Doncaster (7f, good to soft) he disappointed back there on soft ground over the same trip last time. Won his sole AW start so obvious claims if bouncing back.
Winner on soft ground at Newbury last year but has only seen the racecourse once in 2018. Returns from an eight-month break here on first start for a new yard and may well need this.
C&D winner who was out of form on the turf when last seen in June. Much better performer on the AW but remains 5lb higher than for his last win here. Will need to be cherry ripe.
Group 3 winner for Jessica Harrington as a 2-y-o, but lost his way subsequently. Well held on stable debut on soft ground at Haydock but is absolutely chucked in on his old form. Yard do well with this type and dangerous to dismiss.

Forecasts
Laieth (8/11), Tough Remedy (4/1), Fire Diamond (7/1), Smokey Lane (7/1), Barrington (9/1), Final Frontier (28/1), Tathmeen (28/1)
Tough Remedy is better than his effort on soft ground at Doncaster last time and is 1-1 on the AW so is respected. LAIETH is on an upward curve and makes his handicap debut on what looks an attractive mark and should be tough to beat. Final Frontier is dangerously well handicapped on his old form and is just the type that Ruth Carr does well with so should not be discounted.
