Won back-to-back races at Kempton and Windsor in the summer but not so good the last twice. Drops back in class here and only 3lb higher than last win. Going left handed should help as she tends to hang in that direction.
Missed the summer having won at Hamilton in May off a 6lb lower mark. Looked in need of the run on return to action at Nottingham two weeks ago but this previous C&D winner needs to bounce back.
Bounced back to form in no uncertain terms when bolting up at 33/1 in a claimer at Windsor last month. May have been aided by run up the rail there and life is tougher back in a handicap.
Back-to-back victories in the summer at Haydock and Ripon but has struggled on two starts since. Run well on both starts on the All Weather so a return to form would not surprise.
Only had six starts and off the mark here over 5f last month back in novice company. Goes back up to 6f here but that should be no issue and could resume progress now back in handicap company.
Only had two starts so far for this yard and a win looks fairly imminent. Well drawn here and likes to be played late so whilst he needs everything to drop right he could be dangerous of the splits come.
Four-time winner who has largely been on a steady upgrade over the last couple of years. Just looked in need of the run at Kempton last time when a little one-paced when the chips were down. Should come on for that and every chance of a bold showing
Consistent performer who has an admiral record of 10-42 on the AW. Likes to go forward and wears his heart on his sleeve but a chance the handicapper now has him at 7lb above his last winning mark.
Just one win in 14 starts on the turf and there is no doubt his is well handicapped on the best of his form. Makes belated AW debut and is bred to appreciate it. Interesting, especially if the market speaks in his favour.
Form had tailed off for previous yard and finished last of 12 on stable debut at Newcastle (7f, AW) last time. Has plenty of questions to answer at this stage from a wide draw here.
Having dropped in the weights she was very well backed and duly bolted up at Chelmsford (AW, 6f) last month. 6lb rise not overly excessive and leading rider keeps the faith. Player once more.
Bolted up over C&D off an 8lb lower mark last month. Couldn't back that up at Chelmsford last time and this is more competitive.
Forecasts
Letmestopyouthere (10/3), Motajaasid (4/1), Zapper Cass (13/2), Monumental Man (8/1), Lethal Angel (8/1), Moon Song (9/1), Turanga Leela (10/1), Kupa River (16/1), Bounty Pursuit (16/1), Stewardess (25/1), Delilah Park (33/1), Amazing Grazing (33/1)
Lethal Angel won very easily at Chelmsford last time and will be a major player once again if in the same mood under a 6lb penalty. The suspicion is that Bounty Pursuit may not have finished his progress and should be fitter for his recent run. This could be the day that KUPA RIVER bounces back to form as he looks very well handicapped on some of his turf exploits and his pedigree suggests this AW debut should really suit.
- Kupa River
- Lethal Angel
- Bounty Pursuit
